Brand Identity

The Clovelly Crustoceans is Sydney’s friendliest social club for ocean swimming enthusiasts.

The goal of this rebrand was to better reflect the growing nature of the club. Now three years old, the Crusties are coming into their own as an Eastern Beaches institution and the visual language was crafted to celebrate that maturity.

Decoupling the wordmark and the symbol allowed us to play with layering and break out of the bleed with explosive energy.


To develop the brand in such a way as to preserve our heritage while also exploring our full potential seems to be both timely and necessary
